Mio Alpha
The Mio Alpha is a wrist watch that would allow a runner to see their heart rate. This is better than a chest-strap heart rate monitor because it gives you the chance to breathe. The chest-strap monitor would tighten the chest and make you feel uncomfortable. One of the upsides is that you can pair it with your phone and see what your heart rate is, by just looking at your phone.
I think that gadget is is very good for runners. Being a runner myself, i would rather wear something that is comfortable and will not bother me.
